Directions to “Heidi’s Heaven”

From I-26 (Asheville-25 min.)
Exit before Asheville onto I-40, which goes East towards Hickory, NC and West towards Knoxville, Tennessee. You will exit onto I-40 West towards Knoxville. Follow rest of directions “From I-40" below.

From I-85 (Atlanta, GA-2 ½ hours)
Go North on I-85 to I-985 North towards Gainesville. Merge onyo GA 365 North. GA 365 North becomes US 23/441 North. US 23/441 North merges onto US 23/74 at the Sylva, Dillsboro intersection. Follow US 23/74 to Waynesville. Take Exit 102B to Maggie Valley/Lake Junaluska. Follow rest of directions from “Alternate route from I-40" below

From Cherokee area (25 min.)
Take US 441 South to US 19 North (Maggie Valley). Follow rest of directions from “Alternate route from I-40" below

From Knoxville, Tennessee (1 ½ hours)
Take I-40 East to Exit 20(US 276) and go about 5 ½ miles to the stoplight at junction US Highway 19. Take a right and follow the rest of the “Directions to the house” below. From where you turn off of US 276 onto US Highway 19, it is four (4) miles to the turn into Valley Creek Run community, where our home is located.

From I-40
Take I-40 East from Asheville. Pass the Maggie Valley/Cherokee/ Waynesville exit (Exit 27) and travel another seven (7) miles to Exit 20(US 276) and take that exit towards Maggie Valley. Go about 5 ½ miles to the stoplight at the junction with US Highway 19. Take a right on US Hwy 19 and follow the “Directions to the house” below. From where you turn off of US 276 onto US Highway 19, its four (4) miles to the turn into our community, which is Valley Creek Run.

Alternate route from I-40
Take Maggie Valley/Cherokee/Waynesville exit (Exit 27) to the right and you travel approximately 3 miles-and exit again to the right at the Maggie Valley/Lake Junaluska exit onto Highway 19 (exit 105-just after you pass a big Lowes on the left and a Walmart on the right). Stay straight and you’ll pass Lake Junaluska on the right and keep going for about 5 miles and Hwy 276 comes in from the right (stoplight). From there follow the “Directions to the house” below. It is four (4) miles from where you pass Hwy 276 to the turn to the house.

Directions to the house
Keep going straight ahead into Maggie Valley on Hwy 19, which becomes the main street of Maggie. You’ll pass through the main stretch of attractions and see the Maggie Valley Post Office on the right and then Joey’s Pancake House on the left. Across from Joey’s on the right is the Jonathan Creek Inn and Towne House Restaurant. Take a right at Towne House Restaurant (Valley Creek Drive) and go over the small bridge (single lane bridge-single vehicle at a time) across Jonathan Creek (large trout stream). Take the road straight up the hill ahead of you and take the third road to the right (Silverleaf Circle). There are two (2) entrances to Silverleaf but you need to take the first entrance which is the third road on the right. Go down about a quarter of a mile and the house is on the right-hand side in the bend of the road immediately after the light blue house. Our house (Heidi’s Heaven) is a two (2) story blue/green color with cream trim (188 Silverleaf Circle).
